Sales Executive

Qualifications & experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in sales or marketing, preferably in the HR technology industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge of HRIS software and its applications, as well as experience in demonstrating software and explaining its features and benefits to potential customers.
  • A customer-centric mindset, with the ability to understand customer needs and requirements and provide solutions that meet those needs.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changes in the market, product, and organization.
  • A collaborative and team-oriented approach, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to handle objections and overcome barriers to sales.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.

 

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Attracting and retaining new clients by leveraging your sales and marketing expertise and deep knowledge of HRIS software and its applications.
  • Work closely with our cross-functional teams to ensure that our solutions meet the evolving needs of our clients.
  • Manage a full-sales cycle.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Generate new business opportunities, develop new business with existing clients and identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas.
  • Oversee customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements during the sales process.
  • Provide input to product and marketing teams from conversations with customers.
  • Approach all deals with a customer-first “ready to help” mentality, assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
  • Work cross-functionally with different organizations such as Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product and Engineering.
  • Accurately track all sales activity and forecasting in Salesforce.
